Jay Kramarczyk, MS, PE, CFEI
Project Engineer, Senior Fire Investigator

Jay is a licensed Fire Protection Engineer in multiple states in the Rocky Mountain region. He is familiar with codes, standards, regulations, design, installation, and maintenance of wet and dry pipe automatic sprinkler systems. He is also experienced in specialized fire protection systems, such as chemical and commercial kitchen suppression systems. As a fire protection engineer, Jay can analyze fire and smoke detection and alarm systems, as well as appropriate building egress and the application of computerized fire models.

He has presented numerous technical training classes including fire protection engineering, electrical fires, arc mapping and the forensic use of X-ray equipment in laboratory and field settings.

An active member of the NCEES/SFPE Professional Engineer Exam Licensing Committee, Jay helped write the Fire Protection Professional Engineering examination for applicants. Jay has been invited by Austrailian fire officials to work on a joint project designing a practical and effective fire suppression system for wildland fires.
