Phoenix Investigations, Laboratory and Engineering is a full service fire investigation and engineering firm headquartered in Denver, Colorado.  Our staff of certified fire investigators and forensic electrical, mechanical and structural engineers respond to fire cause determination and forensic engineering cases throughout the Rocky Mountain region including: Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Nebraska, Kansas, the Dakotas, Alaska and Hawaii.

Phoenix currently has several positions open for Fire Investigators, Fire Protection Engineers and an Electrical Engineer. These positions may be in our home office in Denver Colorado, or in one of our satellite offices in the Western United States.

Fire Investigators must be IAAI/CFI certified, with no less than four years of fire investigation experience, accepted as an expert witness, and have good communication skills. Candidates must be able to obtain state licenses as required.

FPE’s must have three years experience in plans review, have a background and/or interest in conducting fire origin and cause investigations and be willing to assist in marketing and other engineering disciplines within Phoenix’s response area.

Electrical Engineers must have a Colorado PE licensed or be licensed in their state and able to acquire a Colorado PE license.  This is a field and laboratory position consisting of forensic field examinations and follow up lab exams involving fire losses and product failure analysis.

All applicants must be willing to work and travel in adverse conditions while conducting field investigations.
